We hand-craft every single print that comes through our studio in Seattle with personal care — no mass production here!
When we create your Chromaluxe Metal Print, your artwork is first printed on a transfer paper using our Epson F2600 dye-sublimation printer. It is then placed onto the Chromaluxe metal and placed into a heat press where the dyes transform into a gas pressed into the surface of the metal. As the metal cools, the dyes return to their solid-state, becoming permanently infused into the aluminum substrate.
Note: The special coating on the Chromaluxe metal prints can, at times, show subtle imperfections that, at regular viewing distance, would typically not be seen. While we do everything we can to avoid obvious imperfections, we are unable to redo metal prints based on subtle imperfections.

Thickness: All Chromaluxe Metal Prints are created with .045" thickness.
Sizing: We can create your Chromaluxe Metal Prints in any size at 1/4" increments up to 60x40". If you have questions about sizing for your metal print, please contact us.
The Chromaluxe Metal Print product is gloss white and glossy in appearance with slightly rounded corners (squared corners if adding gallery back option). However, you may choose from glossy, semi-gloss, or matte for the finishing of your print.
Aluminum Subframe/French Cleat Hang: The price of your Chromaluxe Metal Print includes elegant aluminum subframe and french cleat hanging system that floats your print 3/4" from wall.
Aluminum Subframe/Wire Hang: You can also upgrade your aluminum subframe option to include a wire hang system instead!
Gallery Backing: Upgrade during checkout to add a 1/8" thick dibond backer to your metal print for better rigidity and a more prominent look on the wall.

Production & Shipping for Your Chromaluxe Metal Prints
The standard ground shipping price is 12% of the product price for art 40x30" and below and is fully insured by Bumblejax. Minimum shipping charge is $15.00.
You'll see a ground shipping estimated time map at checkout.
- West Coast shipments are typically 1-3 business days, Midwest 3-4 days and East Coast 4-5 days.
- Expedited shipping is available for 3 day, 2 day and overnight.
- Shipping to AK, HI or Canada is 30% of product price + $10 for products 40x30" and below.
- Shipping anywhere else in the world is generally 35-50% of product price.
Please note that prints over 40" also require a custom wooden box to ensure safe shipping to reduce the likelihood of shipping damage.

Most orders ship out in 6-8 business days. Larger orders may need additional time.
A Rush Order option is available for 25% of the product price and will result in your product shipping out in 2-3 business days vs. the standard 6-8.

Frequently Asked Questions About Metal Prints
We have many sizes available to fit the needs of your artwork!
We can do any size in 1/4" increments up to 60x40".
Contrary to popular belief, Chromaluxe Metal Prints aren't indestructible! Precautions should be taken to ensure that your prints last for many years to come. We highly recommend avoiding sustained direct sunlight on your print whenever possible, and to handle with care to avoid scratches.
We offer several options! Included in the price of your Chromaluxe Metal Print is a full aluminum subframe with french cleat hanging (full subframe not necessary for sizes under 15x10). All hardware is also provided. This options floats your art from the wall 3/4". You can also opt to select a wire hang for an additional charge. For better rigidity and a more prominent look on the wall, we recommend adding a 1/8" thick dibond backer (available during checkout).
Standard Production: For stocked sizes that can be ordered online, it typically takes 4-6 business days. For custom sizes, it's about 7-8 business days. However, we are often able to get orders out faster depending on the time of year.
Rush Production: We offer a rush production option when checking out online which gets your order out in 24-48 hours for a 25% charge (15% for reseller accounts). However, if your order is large, this may not be possible — please contact us before placing a rush order for larger items or orders.
Standard Shipping: Standard ground shipping is 1-5 business days depending on where you're located from our facility in Seattle, WA. Example: Orders going to WA, OR and ID can be as quick as overnight while orders going to the East Coast will need 5 business days.
Rush Shipping: We offer expedited shipping options. For online orders, you have the choice of 3 day, 2 day, and standard overnight shipping. If you need a different option such as Saturday or AM delivery, please contact us before placing the order and we can send you a custom payment link.
